Settlement
How and when a bet is settled
- Source-of-truth. Settlement uses the official governing-body result. The operator does not override the official result.
- Live market suspension. Markets suspend during the actual play (a ball in cricket, a goal kick in football). Bets placed during suspension are typically void.
- Abandoned or postponed matches. If the match is abandoned and not rescheduled, single bets are void. Combo bets stand on the remaining selections.
- Settlement timing. Most markets settle within minutes of the official result. Live markets may take slightly longer due to the volume of bets.
